Ninth Ward Brewery Releases Triple IPA Bombers

Wilmington, Delaware – Wilmington Brew Works, who has been producing craft beer and cider in
Wilmington’s Ninth Ward neighborhood since early last summer, will soon be unveiling its inaugural
packaged beer, Eloquation. Until now, if you wanted to sample some of their interesting and innovative
brews, you would have had to visit their Miller Road taproom. Eloquation will be the first bottled beer
from a Wilmington production brewery since 1954.

Eloquation, a triple India pale ale (IPA), was the brewery’s first choice for bottling, due to a specific
request from national distributor Tavour. Craig Wensell, Wilmington Brew Works’ CEO and head brewer,
was excited when Tavour contacted him. “Tavour is a national brand that ships craft beer into 36 states.
Personally, my family in Florida has been asking when they can purchase our products through Tavour
since we opened.”

The initial limited run 22-ounce “bomber” bottles of Eloquation will first be sold via allocation lottery for
$15 at Wilmington Brew Works’ taproom beginning Wednesday, May 1. The brewery will issue free
lottery tickets on social media channels on Tuesday, April 30, allowing each ticket holder to purchase up
to two bottles each the following day.

“We know this is really exciting for Wilmington, and for our customers who supported us all year. By
allocating up to two bottles each, we’re able to ensure that everyone who wants to enjoy Eloquation,
can,” said Keith Hughes, the brewery’s CFO/COO.

Eloquation packs a punch at 11.9% alcohol by volume. The bottle describes the brew as “a mind
numbing blend of honey and Victory® malts. The suggestion of orange blossoms is due to an addition of
honey and a delicious combination of Citra, Simcoe, and Nugget dry hopping.”
