DESCRIPTION:$20/Team\, $10/player \nTHIS LEAGUE IS AT BREW WORKS NORTH\n\nBlind Draw 7/9/25\nRegistration Closes 7/14/25\nLeague starts 7/16/25\n\nLeague fee $20 per team ($10/player) \nThis is a Prize League – Entry fees will be used for prizes for top teams. \nLEAGUE RULES:\nRegistration limited to 20 teams: \n– Teams of 2 players\, one alternate per team is permitted. No one not registered for your team can fill in. If your partner cannot make it for an evening\, you can either have your alternate play (if they are registered as part of your team)\, or you can play solo and “take the walk” \n– BWN will attempt to find a partner for those that need\, but it is strongly preferred you find your own partner before registering \nCasual play: \nThe point of the league is fun\, comradery\, and a great night at Brew Works North with friends! This is an amateur league. Those looking for something more serious would be advised to look elsewhere. While there will be players of varying skill level\, and competition is part of the game\, aggressive behavior\, poor sportsmanship\, etc. will not be tolerated and may result in a players removal from the league \nSchedule: \nEach team will play one match per week\, with matches consisting of 2 games. The eighth and final week will consist of a double elimination tournament to decide winners.  \nPlay will begin each week at 6:30pm\, with final matches scheduled to begin at 9pm. Please understand that game length will vary\, so posted times are estimates (other than the first round of matches at 6:30) \n\nWed 7/9 – Blind Draw – Warmups\nWed 7/16\nWed 7/23\nWed 7/30\nWed 8/6\nWed 8/13\nWed 8/20\nWed 8/27\nWed 9/3 – FINALS\n\nCommissioner’s Note: \n If you have other commitments on Wednesday nights that prevent you from being available during that window\, please do not register for the league. I will spread team playing time out over the course of the season to be as fair to everyone as possible. I cannot give a small group special treatment to accommodate their other commitments (for example: “I also play poker Wednesday nights and need to be out by 7:30” or “I don’t get off work until 7pm\, so I need to start at 7:30 or later every week). I understand that situations may arise on occasion\, and will work with everyone to the best of my ability. Once the league starts\, I will distribute my email and phone number for scheduling.  \nForfeits:  \nIf your team is more than 15 minutes late for your scheduled match time\, you will forfeit your match. If your team cannot make it to a week of league play\, you will forfeit your match. Please let me know ahead of time if you cannot make a week assuming you are aware in advance.
