We set out to make a NE Belgian Spiced Ale, and realized that what we were doing was creating an obscure and esoteric style known as the Danish Confectionery Quad. We added Golden Oats and Lactose for a creamy pie crust flavor accentuated by cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, and cardamom. Additionally, this beer was strengthened with honey. There isn't much we didn't do with this beer and wow! Sometimes more is more... especially when it comes to ABV. Please be careful with this delicious delight.
