Brew Works North will be Family Friendly on Saturdays and Sundays, from Noon till 6pm. We still need to have some guidelines. Please:
- Billiards Room Remains 21+
- No one under 21 may sit at the bar
- Parents must stay with children under 16
- No Darts or Cornhole for children under 13
- We are not a place for kids parties. This is an adult-centric space that welcomes families.
Brew Works North welcomes leashed and well-behaved dogs from Noon till 6pm on Sundays. Similarly, some guidelines.
- No dogs on the furniture
- We do not have a licensed outdoor space, so if you bring your pup outside, you may not bring a drink.
- Accidents must be cleaned up by owners
- If you dog can’t handle loud noises (like cornhole bags hitting a board), please think twice.
Wilmington Brew Works has survived (and thrived!) a challenging 7+ years in an ever-changing environment. We did this, in part, by making necessary changes when the situations dictate. For instance, utilizing the Alamo Room for private events, transitioning to online ordering during COVID, utilizing QR Code ordering when we opened back up, and yes, restrictions on kids during weekend evenings at the original taproom.
This is no different at Brew Works North. We’ve been open three months have assessed our operations. We’ve heard your comments. We gave all day, every day 21+ a shot, and learned two things:
- 21+ is a real thing. People like going to bars that are 21+ at night. We’re not going to mess with that.
- People want to experience our space and we’re not giving them the chance. Our taproom is underutilized during the weekend day hours, so let’s open it up!
Thanks for your understanding, both in giving us the time to experience our growing pains, and for accepting the changes as we move forward.
Like everything, these changes are not set in stone – we may choose to revisit this again in a few months. We’re sure to continue to evolve our business. The only constant is change.
