Join Wilmington Brew Works on February 9th for Throwback Night at the Delaware Blue Coats, as they take on the Austin Spurs. The Blue Coats will be wearing throwback Wilmington Blue Bomber Jerseys.
The uniforms feature the brand marks of Wilmington Brew Works, the Official Craft Beer Partner of the Blue Coats, and presenting partner of Blue Bombers Tribute Night. Game-worn, autographed jerseys will be available to purchase via an online auction for fans following the game. All auction proceeds will benefit the Friends of Wilmington Parks, whose logo is featured on the back of the uniform. Wilmington Brew Works is a proud support of Friends of Wilmington Parks, who are dedicated to maintaining the beauty and enjoyment of the Wilmington State Parks system.

At this game, the Blue Coats will retire the No. 9 jersey of Wilmington Blue Bombers legend Waite Bellamy. Bellamy starred for the Blue Bombers throughout the franchise’s existence in the Eastern Professional Basketball League (EPBL) from 1963-1971. A two-time EPBL First Team Selection, Bellamy led the Blue Bombers to back-to-back league titles in 1966 and 1967, and was named the EPBL Most Valuable Player in 1970. Over 200-plus games across his career in Delaware, Bellamy averaged 25 points, seven rebounds and three assists per game.
Wilmington Brew Works currently features Varsity Brew, a Hazy Northeast Pale Ale, available in Cans at all Blue Coats games. On February 9th, A new beer featuring the Wilmington Blue Bombers Logo will debut at the Chase Field House. Sortie is a German Style Pilsner featuring Mittlefruh hops, and is 4% abv.
