The Ultimate Hybrid Beer Pro – Draft Tech | Bartender | Delivery Hustle
Are you ready to level up your career with a gig that’s anything but typical?
Wilmington Brew Works is on the hunt for a full-time, high-energy professional to join our team in a one-of-a-kind hybrid position. This isn’t just one job—it’s three roles that give you total visibility into the craft beer world, from our taproom to the taps of our best retail partners. You’ll be crucial to expanding our on-premise footprint and guaranteeing that every pour of WBW beer is perfect. This position reports directly to our Sales Representative, allowing our outside sales team to gain greater visibility and spend more time with current and potential new customers each week.
What You’ll Be Doing (The Hybrid Hustle)
Your day-to-day will be anything but boring, splitting your time between three key areas:
- The Vibe Curator (Bartending):Slinging beers and creating unforgettable customer experiences at both Wilmington Brew Works and Brew Works North.
- The Quality Control Master (Draft Tech): Becoming a specialist in draft systems. You will keep our customers’ beer lines pristine—visiting bars/restaurants on a scheduled basis, cleaning tap lines, and changing Couplers and Faucets.
- The Road Warrior (Delivery & Sales Support): Teaming up with our Sales Rep to coordinate and execute deliveries. You’ll be the friendly, professional face of WBW, building and maintaining strong relationships with our retail partners.
Why This Gig Is Next Level
- Skill Development: We invest in you! You’ll receive comprehensive on-the-job training, and we will pay for your professional Beer Cleaning Certification course (Brewers Association/Micro Matic standards).
- Unique Advantage: You’ll be part of the only, local, self-distributing brewery with a dedicated Draft Tech. This unique service gives our brewery a major competitive advantage in the local market.
- Impact & Growth: Your diligence ensures customers and their patrons enjoy our product at its peak freshness and purity, which directly helps us sell more beer and greatly expand our presence.
- Variety: Ditch the mundane. No two days are the same—you’ll move from the bar, to the road, to our customers’ cellars.
The Essentials (Must Haves)
- Valid Driver’s License and a stellar driving record.
- Reliable vehicle for making local deliveries.
- The ability to safely lift and maneuver Sixtel Kegs and Half Barrel Kegs (approximately 160-165 lbs) using a Hand Truck.
- Serious attention to detail and a commitment to courtesy and integrity in all your interactions.
